Individualized Rehabilitation Exercise Prescription
According to Orthopaedic / Musculoskeletal Assessment Findings
Post assessment, this is followed by one on one rehabilitation sessions focusing on specific exercise prescription and technique designed accordingly to the patients’ needs
This includes:
Theraband/Elastic and Resistance Training and Technique
Proper use of these tools for resistive exercise provides both concentric and eccentric resistance on the muscles, improving strength, range of motion and muscle balance. Effective since they target larger muscles as well as smaller stabilizing muscles
Bosu and Pilate Ball training
The unstable characteristics of the bosu ball make it a great training tool for targeting stabilizer muscles, especially those of the core. You can take a traditional, stable move, like the squat, and make it more challenging with the Bosu because you now have to balance on an uneven surface.
Body weight workouts are useful mentally and physically since you’re basically working against your own body weight. From planks, push-ups, dips and mountain climbers, most workout routines can incorporate a stability ball and improve the results
Improves static and dynamic balance and postural stability by activating multiple core muscles. This can improve your overall posture and balance strength
Strengthing and Activation of Particular Muscle Groups
A combination of functional training and stablizing exercises
Circuit and Cable Machine training
TRX/Rope training
Core Training
Your core stabilizes your body, allowing you to move in any direction as well as having proper balance. It helps prevents falls and supports your body.
Here are some common signs you might have a weak core: Lower Back Pain. If your lower back tends to ache after standing or even sitting for a long time, poor posture, lack of balance and shortness of breath
